From the church there is a narrow stretch of road for half a mile, pick up the path again shortly after passing the Lamarsh Lion. The walk takes you past Belchamp Hall Folly and through some beautiful countryside before returning to Bulmer. Entrance – Lasalle Blvd, left of the Cemetery ), the middle two have dog flaps within (plenty big enough for a labrador or equivalent) and the final one is only about 30cm high (so most dogs should be able to hop over just fine). Remarkably you see little of the river until you get a few miles into the walk.
