ITV has confirmed that Supermarket Sweep will be returning to screens weekdays from 1st September.

Supermarket Sweep’s 2020 series will begin Tuesday September 1 at 3pm on ITV and continue week days.

Supermarket Sweep sees teams of two enter a set kitted out to look just like a real supermarket, with a little help from Tesco. I have been so touched by the genuine warmth people had for the show.

Executive producers include Leslie Jones, Hunter Seidman and Jennifer Mullin, Alycia Rossiter and Wes Kauble. Alongside the 6 celebrity specials, 25 civilian episodes were also recorded. Producer Thames said the new show would air on ITV2 and would feature "new games, challenges and a sprinkle of celebrity stardust".
