There was a menu on the table when we sat down but it was taken when our drinks were served and, although the first course was explained to us by the waiter, the following ones were not and we were not entirely sure what we were eating. I always appreciate that at (good) vegetarian restaurants they know they need to work hard on flavour to make up for the lack of depth the meat dishes normally provide and Tredwells was no exception. In addition to this, we are excited to announce that we have partnered with the fresh, new non-alcoholic brand Three Spirit whose naturally uplifting elixir is the perfect accompaniment for those laying off the booze this new year. It is cooked in some sort of almond butter and it is honestly delicious and only costs a fiver - trust me, try it! Topped off with incredibly welcoming service and great atmosphere. Quiet when we arrived, (not surprisingly as it was just before 5:00 pm) but was soon buzzing with diners. I was taken here for my birthday by my boyfriend and we both had the vegan tasting menu and matching wine. Service was well paced but comfortable. Website.
